1. i don't think you can get a free used laptop but you could get a used laptop for about ... $300.00 maybe
2. Free? nothing is free. You can find some good deals on ebay but becareful, do your research. You need to know the computer and check out the seller.
3. Go to the nearest "FreeCycle" website in your area. If you Google "Freecycle", you'll get to the main site, then you can locate the one nearest you. BUT, before you can get osmeitng for free, you must offer something to others for free. It could be anything useful.
4. Go to the airport and catch someone not looking. Run very fast
5. Find someone who is a wizz on e-bay. My brother-in-law got me a Toshiba laptop for $45.00. It has a small defect - a small 1/2" bar on the left of the screen, but this doesn't interfeer with the size of the screen or anything.
