are the refurbished laptops on ubid any good or what?

what should i look for. i want to be able to burn dvds if possible.

1. Refurbished laptops are broken laptops that where given to the company and repaired. Then they are re-sold again.
2. they weren't 'broken' and yes, sometimes they are even better. make sure you trust the techs at the store though. go in and look around and ask Qs to see how knowledgeable they are.
3. I had problems last time I bought on UBID and would seriously recommend you visiting Dell's OUTLET SITE and patiently shopping for specs you want bec systems are LIKE NEW CONDITION except maybe Scratch & Dent and carry Dell warranty (but note you plus pay sales tax for your state and S&H).
