Can someone help me with refurbished Laptops?

I just want to understand more about them, are there any risks about buying them and why do they go so cheap? Should i be purchasing one of these lower priced better spec refurbished laptops instead of a brand new one? Thanks

1. Refurbished can be a damaged product that was fixed to a customer that returned the product because of the colour or size issue. Can be a great buy.
