How can companies that sell used laptops sell their products for more than Walmart charges for a new one?
When you find a good used one, it lists for $599 or higher. Walmart sells new ones, with Vista for $400 - $600 bucks. Is there anywhere you can get a good, quality laptop, that's both affordable, and good?

- Walmart sells very basic laptops. The hardware doesn't cost a lot, and since they're a big retailer, the volume shipment cuts down some of the price. Your used laptops are probably good ones that are outdated. Or someone is trying to make a profit.
- A good second hand machine is going to hold a high price. Especially now you can no longer buy a new XP machine, where the others may offer this. These prices will normally include some kind of warranty and maybe even some support. You are better looking for a slightly lower spec new machine. Also do NOT fall for the fraudulent links posted by people like Irena C, these sites will have you breaking laws by giving other people's information, fraudulently clicking links that are meant to be visited by the public, probably sell you things you do not want, set you up for masses of spam and then do NOT give a laptop. Let us all report this fraudulent link wherever we see it before she catches anybody.
